What book are you reading right now?
I have been engaged with three books with diverse topics.
‘Grit’ by Angela Duckworth is an extremely interesting read for personal development. The book is a result of deep research by Duckworth, a well entrenched psychologist. The basic idea which has been brought about in the book and which is also the premise of the book is the fact that Talent alone cannot get you success. It has to be fortified with hardwork, focus, determination etc , leading to grit. The author has put up a very interesting equation, which has kept me thinking.
Talent x hardwork = Skill
Skill x hardwork= Achievement
I am only half way through the book and am enjoying it.
‘The Judge’s List’ by John Grisham I have just completed. It is a decent thriller for a change and an interesting read.
‘ This is Marketing ‘ by Seth Godin is a fabulous book on Marketing and since I have interest in Marketing and Branding, this book is an excellent and well researched take on marketing.
