Pandemonium At Papara Park
There was complete pandemonium at the Papara Park in Trabzon, Turkiye, as more than 40k fans were treated to an Egyptian delight on Sunday night. Trabzonspor were playing Istanbul Basaksehir in their second match of the Turkish Super Lig and, needless to say, they had to win it.
It Was King Mo’s Evening
The evening belonged to ‘King Mo’ Salah from Egypt as the sublime North African ensured Trabzonspor had a full three points from the game. Salah served a double, and the crazy fans just lapped it up in euphoric celebrations.

The Agile Salah Scores Early
The first goal saw Salah’s agility and presence of mind as he latched onto a ricochet from the goalkeeper and struck to put the ball into the goal with just 8 minutes on the clock.
Basaksehir Respond With Intent
Basaksehir responded with a penalty from Shomurodov after a handball by Chibuike Nwaiwu, to square the match in the 19th minute. But Salah produced a brilliant piece of Football early in the second half to secure the match for Trabzon.
Salah’s Brilliance Seals The Deal
Coming from the right flank, the incredible Egyptian played a superb link-up play with Ernest Muci and then scored in a flash with a curler from his famous left foot. The move and its finishing were so quick that the opposition hardly had any time to react.
Trabzon Celebrate Salah’s Double
Salah’s double sealed the game as Trabzonspor held on to deny Basaksehir and collected full points, to go fourth on the Super Lig Table. Trabzon celebrated the win with gusto. Their star recruit this summer had hit the ground running.
