I haven’t purchased anything extravagant other than a house and a car. A whole life’s saving eventually goes away in getting a house.
Of course there would be mobile phones and laptops, which are more a necessity rather than a splurge on personal accessories.
I am trying to invest in my relationships. I am trying to invest my time and energy. The returns of which I hope to be splendid, rich and exquisite. Much like expensive gifts.
