Should Man City Be Stripped of Their Titles? Both Sides of the Debate
Football’s biggest legal saga has reached a turning point. An independent commission has found Manchester City guilty of all charges linked to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules over a nine-season period, and of most of the charges over failing to co-operate with the league’s investigation. City deny wrongdoing and have appealed. Sanctions will be decided in a separate hearing.
That raises the question every fan is now asking: if the findings stand, should City lose their titles?

Acting before the appeal is resolved would risk punishing a club for findings that might change.
The middle ground
Many commentators suggest leaving results intact but imposing very heavy fines, points deductions in future seasons, and compensation to affected clubs. Others say only title removal protects the integrity of the competition.
The verdict is yours
A title can be seen as a record of what happened on the pitch, or as a reward for competing by the rules. Which one you believe probably decides your answer.
