Miami’s Dominance & Rapids’ Resurgence
The match was indeed a two-half story. The first half was sheer dominance from Inter Miami, and the second was an incredible fightback from a resurgent Rapids. However, Messi’s left-footed signature strike stunned the home team, and Inter Miami emerged victorious with a slender 3-2 margin.

Miami & Berterame Score
Lionel Messi converted a penalty in the 18th minute, and just on the stroke of half-time, Berterame scored to put Miami two goals ahead at half-time. Messi’s side was all over Colorado Rapids, and the fate of the match appeared as a foregone conclusion.
Rapids Leave Crowds In A Frenzy
Colorado Rapids, however, came out of the dugout with renewed vigour in the second half. In a 4-minute blitz, Rafael Navarro and then Darren Yapi scored for the Rapids and equalised, sending the quiet crowd into a vociferous frenzy.
Messi – The Master At Work
Lionel Messi then produced a magic of his own with a scintillating left-footer in the 79th minute to give Inter Miami the crucial lead over the Rapids. It was pure, sublime skill from the legend.
Miami Hold On For A Famous Victory
Inter Miami then held on to a nervy but resilient win as they were reduced to 10 men with Yannick Bright getting red-carded in the 87th minute.
