Erling Haaland’s Team is on the cusp of World Cup Qualification after a gap of 28 years, after a sensational campaign from the Scandinavians.
Norway is to cross swords with Israel in an hour and a half from now at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. Though the match carries huge significance in terms of World Cup Qualification for Norway, the fractious undercurrent between a vociferous Norway calling for Israel’s suspension over its war on Gaza and Israel has generated political tension.

Norway’s Football Association (NFF) has been outspoken in their condemnation of Israel and has declared that ticket sales from the match would be donated to Doctors Without Borders, a humanitarian charitable organisation.
The NFF has been firm with their stance on Israel, and though a ceasefire has come into place in Gaza, the scars of the war have led to Norway and Israel playing under a Heavy Cloud.
The Nordic warriors are expected to win and qualify for the World Cup after 1998.
We shall know very soon.
