By the time he left, Jaiswal with 161 runs had taken India far ahead of the tiring and clueless Aussies. KL Rahul, who had departed for 77 earlier in the day and amassed a record breaking 201 run partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

With the pitch beginning to misbehave due to the widening cracks, Australia look to be going down and tomorrow could well be the last day of the match.
