Manchester United Travel to Ipswich
Manchester United under new manager Ruben Amorim travelled to Portman Road Stadium to face Ipswich Town last night. The Premier League encounter gained importance as it was Amorim’s debut for United. The Portugese Manager with a strong reputation and expected to change the sagging fortunes of one of England’s finest football clubs was to test the Premier League waters for the first time.
Rashford Scores For United
United began brilliantly with the extremely quick 22 year old Amad Diallo making a precise pass to Marcus Rashford who tapped it in with just 2 minutes into the match. Amorim would have been delighted but he kept calm and showed no emotions. Diallo, the Ivory Coast national was electric with his speed and in my opinion has the ability to outrun any defense.

Hutchinson Responds For Ipswich With A Stunner
The Tractor boys ( nick name for the Ipswich Team ) picked themselves up and mounted a series of attacks on the United goal. The Red Devils appeared a bit taken aback by the assault. Ipswich pressed ou and were eventually rewarded. Omari Hutchinson, just 21, produced the goal of the week for me. A stunning left footer beating Andre Onana with ease. The strike was a real ripper showing the class and potential of the player. The teams were levelled in the 43rd minute.
Brilliant Onana Saves The Day For Manchester United
The drive from the Tractor Boys continued in the second half. Had it not been for some incredible saves from Onana, Manchester United would have suffered. The timid display from the Red Devils would have hurt Amorim. Onana flung himself all over the place and put in a stunning performance to deny Ipswich. United were lucky to survive and escaped with a draw. Ipswich had their lapses too but on the day the hosts were the better side.
United Lying in 12th on the EPL Table
Manchester United with the draw moved to 12th position on the EPL table while Ipswich remained in the relegation zone.
A Tough Challenge For Ruben Amorim
For Ruben Amorim it was not an easy first outing and he would be required to dig deep and draw on all his experience to help Manchester United move forward.
The Tractor Boys, however, impressed.
