Laid-Back Camp Season 4 is officially scheduled to premiere in April 2027, with the anime’s production committee releasing a new trailer and main visual on November 6, 2026. The upcoming season will continue the outdoor adventures of Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Rin Shima, and their friends while introducing new experiences for the Outdoor Activities Circle.

The announcement also revealed three theme songs and highlighted the growing importance of two younger characters, Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa. Their involvement represents an important development for the group, which has gradually expanded since the original anime premiered in January 2018. Its relaxed approach to storytelling has helped establish the series among viewers who enjoy slice-of-life anime.

What Will Happen in Laid-Back Camp Season 4?

The fourth season continues following the characters as they explore different camping destinations while learning more about outdoor activities. One of the biggest developments involves Mei Nakatsugawa joining the Outdoor Activities Circle as a new student. Mei has an interest in road cycling, which becomes an important part of her upcoming adventure.

According to the official synopsis, Mei and Aoi Inuyama prepare for a cycling and camping trip towards a dam lake in northern Yamanashi. Their journey involves travelling approximately 70 kilometres in one direction, introducing a different kind of outdoor challenge. Meanwhile, Ema Mizunami, who enjoys drawing, becomes involved in a camping trip through Gunma with Nadeshiko and Ena Saito.

Ema gradually discovers the appeal of camping while spending time with the more experienced members. Rin continues enjoying solo camping, while Ayano Toki becomes increasingly interested in outdoor adventures following her earlier touring experiences. These separate journeys allow the anime to explore different approaches to camping without changing the relaxed atmosphere that has defined the series.
