Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 is officially in production, with the upcoming season set to continue the Culling Game storyline following the events of Season 3. The anime’s promotional campaign has introduced new character visuals and a teaser featuring Ryomen Sukuna, although the production committee has not announced an exact release date.

The franchise recently released 13 character posters on November 1, 2026, highlighting characters from Season 3’s Culling Game Part 1. While these posters do not belong to Season 4, their release has renewed attention on the storyline ahead of its continuation.

When Will Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Release?

As of November 7, 2026, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 does not have a confirmed premiere date or release window. The production was officially announced in March 2026, following the conclusion of the third season, which adapted the first part of the Culling Game arc.

The upcoming season is titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 2 and will continue adapting Gege Akutami’s original manga. MAPPA remains responsible for animation production, maintaining its involvement with the franchise since the first television season premiered in October 2020.

A teaser released in June offered an early look at the continuation, featuring several major characters and confrontations. Another promotional visual unveiled in August placed Sukuna at its centre, showing the powerful curse submerged in dark water.

Although the promotional campaign is underway, the official website has not confirmed the episode count, broadcast schedule, or international streaming arrangements. Fans should therefore treat circulating release-date predictions cautiously until the production committee provides further information.

What Will Happen in Culling Game Part 2?

The fourth season will continue the Culling Game, a deadly competition orchestrated by Kenjaku that forces sorcerers into dangerous confrontations across Japan. The storyline follows Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and their allies as they attempt to navigate the competition while confronting powerful opponents. Unlike earlier conflicts, the Culling Game introduces several participants with unusual cursed techniques and different motivations.

The new teaser highlights Kinji Hakari’s confrontation with Hajime Kashimo, one of the most anticipated battles in the storyline. It also features Maki Zenin demonstrating her abilities, while Choso and Yuki Tsukumo prepare to confront Kenjaku. Yuji and Megumi remain central to the narrative as the competition becomes increasingly complicated. The presence of Sukuna in the promotional material also suggests that the powerful curse will continue playing an important role.

However, the production team has not confirmed the exact number of manga chapters that Season 4 will adapt. While manga readers may already know how these conflicts develop, viewers should not assume that every major event will appear in the upcoming season.

Who Is Producing Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4?

The fourth season introduces a change in its directing team. Takeru Sato, who previously worked on the Culling Game adaptation as an episode director and assistant director, is taking over as director. Shota Goshozono, who directed the previous seasons, will serve as chief director. Hiroshi Seko returns to handle series composition and scripts, while MAPPA continues overseeing animation.

The announced cast includes Junya Enoki as Yuji Itadori, Yuma Uchida as Megumi Fushiguro, and Junichi Suwabe as Sukuna. The combination of returning creative staff and a new director could give the continuation a different visual approach while preserving the style established by earlier episodes. With several major confrontations approaching, Season 4 has plenty of material to explore. Will the upcoming adaptation deliver the intensity that made the Culling Game one of the manga’s most discussed storylines?
