Roman Reigns and Bron Breakker have been circling each other for more than a year, but WWE has not yet given them a proper singles match. With both holding gold and the story’s history already written, a full-blown rivalry is possible. Here is the case, and what stands in the way.
How It Started
At WrestleMania 41, Paul Heyman turned on Reigns and CM Punk and sided with Seth Rollins. On the Raw that followed, Breakker appeared and flattened Reigns with a Spear, helping form a new heel group, The Vision. The pair met again in multi-man matches, including a July 2025 Raw segment in which Reigns and Jey Uso took on Breakker and Bronson Reed.
The WarGames Chapter
At Survivor Series: WarGames 2025, Breakker, Reed and Logan Paul teamed with Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar to beat Reigns, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and The Usos. That result left Reigns on the losing side against Breakker’s group, and it gave the pairing a clear unfinished-business hook.
Where Each Man Stands Now
Reigns is the World Heavyweight Champion and faces Sami Zayn in a champion-versus-champion match at Crown Jewel on November 7. Breakker and Austin Theory are World Tag Team Champions and have a title defense against Penta and Je’Von Evans at the same show. Heyman has left The Vision, and Breakker’s long feud with Seth Rollins ended in a steel cage match loss at Night of Champions. That leaves him without a clear singles target.
Why It Could Be Huge
The story writes itself: Reigns, the veteran who once ruled the Bloodline, versus a younger power wrestler who has already beaten the world’s best in tag and faction matches. The Obstacles
WWE has not announced a Reigns vs. Breakker match. Reigns is also tied up with Zayn, Oba Femi is calling him out and the 946 faction is feuding with The Bloodline. “Biggest rivalry” is a high bar, and it would need weeks of build to get there.
