It was an epic encounter at the Papara Park in Trabzon as Trabzonspor played host to the Turkish Super Lig defending champions Galatasaray last night.

The visitors were blown away 0-4 by a menacing storm named Mo Salah, who mesmerised with his speed, ball control and brilliant finishing to score his first hat-trick on Turkish soil.

Thomas Reiss Debuts With A Win
As Trabzonspor played their first match under the new manager, 52-year-old German Thomas Reiss looked a class apart. Galatasaray did have more of the possession, but Trabzonspor were sharp, creating chances in a flash and catching the Galatasaray defence napping with their quick counter offensives and rapid bursts.
Salah’s Pace & Finishing Were Incredible
Salah’s first goal in the 4th minute and his third in the 80th marked his pace across the field on a quick burst and perfect finishing. Salah also played a fine assist for Saviolo to score his first in the 39th minute. The pass from Salah was inch perfect with a slight spin to make it easy for Saviolo, who struck brilliantly to score. Salah scored his second in the 44th minute when F Dju set him superbly for a fine finish.
Andre Onana Was Brilliant In Goal Too
Andre Onana was brilliant for Trabzonspor in goal and made some splendid saves to deny Galatasaray and ensure a clean sheet for his team. With the win Trabzonspor moved to 5th position in a major jump on the leaderboard.
Papara Park Soaked In Salah’s Brilliance
Salah was undoubtedly the toast of the evening as Papara Park filled to capacity, soaked in his brilliance.
