Women’s Championship Match Opens WWE NXT

Before the match on WWE NXT, Parker told Thea Hail to wait in the back before making her entrance. The match was a back-and-forth affair with both women trading flash pins and big moves. Parker caught her with a Samoan Drop and set up for a guillotine hip drop, but Jordan reversed a hip attack and hit the One of a Kind moonsault to retain her title. After the match, Wren Sinclair attacked Jordan with a kendo stick in revenge for Kendal Grey until officials stopped her. Robert Stone later suspended Sinclair, who called out how she was being punished once she grew a backbone.

Tag Team Match Features High-Paced Action

The Creed Brothers faced Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno in a fast-paced tag team contest. The Creeds gained control during the picture-in-picture break and hit a Code Breaker-fallaway slam combo on Dar. Romeo recovered and hit a top-rope missile dropkick and a dive on both Creeds. Dar and Romeo hit stereo kicks and a double armdrag slam for a two-count. Dar cut off Brutus and landed Dia de los Muertos, but a Brutus Bomb broke up the pin. Julius knocked Romeo with a lariat, and The Creeds won with a double running slam.

North American Title Match Sees Drake Retain

Jackson Drake defended his NXT North American Championship against Tavion Heights. The numbers game played a part early against Heights. Heights gained momentum with an overhead belly-belly suplex and a slingblade, but Drake cut him off with a German suplex. The two battled to the apron, where Tavion landed a brutal German suplex. Both men went for quick pins and matched each other strike for strike. Drake finally landed a running knee clean to the face and won after landing the 450. After the match, Myles Borne emerged from the crowd, but Heights walked away without speaking to him.

BirthRight Segment and Charlie Dempsey’s Promo

BirthRight complained backstage about being seen as an afterthought. William Regal and Fit Finlay interrupted, and Finlay asked Lexis King what he was going to do after losing his title. Dempsey was in the ring, saying enough is enough after keeping his mouth shut for six years. He called out NXT for pushing failed football players and turning them into something they are not. He said NXT has turned its back on real wrestlers, and it is time for them to take back what they deserve. 

Dempsey then called out Zilla Fatu, who came out and admitted that most of what Charlie said was true. Zilla appreciated the invite but said he won’t get lost in the sauce. Zilla told Charlie hell no, and BirthRight surrounded the ring and attacked him. Zilla momentarily fought back, but the numbers were too much, and BirthRight Shield Bombed him through the announcer’s desk.

Zaria and Izzi Dame Confrontation

Zaria was out in the ring, talking about how there was always someone in her way. She said she is now the North American Champion and aiming to become the best Women’s NA Champion in history. Izzi Dame interrupted and called Zaria fake, saying she has become everything she has hated. Dame added that Zaria was hiding something and would show everyone who the real Zaria is. Thea Hail came through the entranceway and called Hail boring and walked away. Zaria mocked Hail about how she is only here because Parker told her to, and the two women brawled after Hail brought up Sol Ruca.

Main Event Tag Match Determines Number One Contenders

The winning team of the main event tag match between Cruz Montana, EK Prosper, Keanu Carver and Mason Rook, Saquon Shugars, and Tony D’Angelo would face off in a three-way next week to determine a number one contender for the NXT Championship. The closing stretch saw Montana and Carver working together to superplex Rook. Prosper came from another corner for a splash for a two-count. D’Angelo hit German suplexes on Prosper and Carver, followed by a lariat into a bulldog and a pop-up powerslam. Rook carried D’Angelo and hit a Death Valley Driver onto Prosper in the corner for the win. Grayson Waller was on commentary and stared down his potential challengers to close out WWE NXT.
