In the 82nd minute, Thuram’s brilliant header got the match on an even keel, and then Lautaro Martinez stretched his foot to the limit to guide one into the Napoli goal in stoppage time to seal the win for Inter.

Martinez ran up to the stands and almost climbed into one as vociferous celebrations hit San Siro in full measure. A determined Inter Milan outfit had ensured a thrilling comeback to secure an incredible win.

Napoli were disappointed and recorded their second loss in three games to fall to 10th position in the Serie A leaderboard.
