A Game of Massive Importance
In the context of the Roshn Saudi League ( RSL) Title race, the game tonight between Al-Hilal and Al-Khaleej is of massive importance.
Crucial Points At Stake For Al-Hilal
Al-Hilal, the Blue Waves, are 5 points behind Al-Nassr, and a win today will cut the lead to just a couple of points. Al-Nassr’s loss to Al-Qadsiyah has opened the gates for Al-Hilal again. A loss or a draw might yet again put Al-Nassr in a commanding position.
The Blue Waves Are Looking Good…
Al-Hilal are yet to lose a game this season in the RSL, which is a mighty achievement under the watchful eyes of Manager Simone Inzaghi. However, a spate of draws led to them losing the pole position to Al-Nassr. But their last three wins, against Al-Kholood, Damac and Al-Hazem, have been emphatic to say the least and Al-Hilal as a bunch are looking dangerous again.
… And Will Start As Favourites
With Karim Benzema, Malcolm, Al-Dawsari, and Milinkovic-Savic decorating the line-up, Al-Hilal look a very tough side and will start as favourites for sure.
Al-Khaleej Are Not Far Behind Either…
Al-Khaleej, on the other hand, placed 11th on the table with no fears of relegation whatsoever, and would be looking to close out the season on a high note. They have been victorious in their last two games against Damac and Al-Najma, and will be drawing a lot of confidence from their recent exploits. And playing at home, Al-Khaleej will not be easy to dismantle, even by Al-Hilal’s standards.
… And Need To be Taken Seriously
Joshua King for Al-Khaleej, has already scored 18 goals in the RSL this season and looks like a real deal. He has the capability of disturbing the defence of any side, with Kostas Fortounis to give him able company upfront.
Can Al-Khaleej Do Al-Nassr A Favour?
It is going to be an interesting game, with Al-Nassr praying for a big favour from Al-Khaleej.
