Max Verstappen produced a tremendous late charge as he dominated the last 7 races of the Formula 1 2025 season. Going into the last race with 12 points behind leader Lando Norris, the Brit driving the McLaren, Verstappen had to win the Abu Dhabi GP at the Yas Marina and then hoped that Lando Norris missed the podium.
The 4-time Champion gave it all, won the race from start to finish, but the consistent Lando Norris scalped the 3rd position to win his maiden F1 Title with just 2 points, to break Verstappen’s incredible winning run of 4 years.
Norris’ team mate Australia Oscar Piastri stood third in the Championship while McLaren won the Constructor’s Championship in a brilliant season, wherein they dominated the tracks.
