All eyes would be on the Al-Qadsiah vs Neom clash in Tabuk tonight. With both teams in the upper half of the Roshn Saudi League (RSL), the contest is significant considering the momentum it would deliver to the hopes of both clubs going forward.
Al-Qadsiah have been one of the better clubs in the Saudi League and along with Al-Nassr, Al- Hilal and Al-Ahli Saudi are undefeated in the new season so far. The Knights of the East as they are fondly known, have won 3 games and drawn 1 in their 4 matches in the RSL and would be determined to stay undefeated. A victory against Neom would propel them to 2nd place on the table. A big bonus certainly awaits the team from Dammam.

Neom SC, on the other hand, have been impressive on their debut in the Saudi League, having been promoted from the second division. The team from Tabuk has played 4 tough games, and in 3 of them, they have emerged victorious and have lost just 1 contest. Though they have not scored freely, Neom have shown some incredible resilience in close contests so far.
Against Al-Qadsiah, however, it will not be a cake walk for Neom, and they will be required to play out of their skins to get past their guests from the East. Mateo Retegui, the Italian would be a handful, and his brilliance with the ball would be a challenge for the hosts. Julian Quinones, the Mexican International and Abdullah Al Salem, too, won’t be easy to contain for Neom.

Neom, who rely on a tight, organised defence, have a decent attack in Lacazette and Luciano Rodriguez. They are resilient too, a trait which was on display when they edged past Al-Riyadh in a tight 3-2 finish on 27th September. Coached by Frenchman Christophe Galtier, Neom are no pushovers either and will demand their pound of flesh. Since the newbies are playing on their home ground, they have the best opportunity to upset the more fancied Al-Qadsiah, who have not been the greatest of travellers.
In the above context and analysis, Al-Qadsiah are the favourites to win, and the scoreline might just be 2-1 in favour of the Knights of the East.
We will find out in a few hours.
