Coco Gauff, the World No. 2, humbled an error prone World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka 6-7, 6-2, 6-4 to win her first French Open Championship at Roland Garros.
The American underdog Gauff, took all the blows from the hard hitting Sabalenka, remained steadfast, played defensive brilliantly and in the end a frustrated Sabalenka lost her rails and succumbed to the gritty Gauff.
