What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?
I have been more of an optimist than a pessimist, but still negative feelings do crowd in at times. This must be happening to all humans I guess.
There is no well thought of strategy to deal with negative feelings but over the years one tends to develop an internal mechanism in dealing with them.
I try to stay positive if something is not going my way and try to do whatever I can to change the situation, and more often than not I have been successful.
If I can’t I try to accept it, which is extremely tough to do and at times I have failed. It shows I am human. If things go beyond my capacity then the best way eventually is to seek refuge in the Almighty.
