It was expected to be a tight game as Nottingham Forest welcomed Brighton The seagulls to the City Ground, where the hosts have been a force. As much As I was surprised by the result, Brighton were equally decimated by a raging storm from Nottingham.

An own goal early served a bad omen for Brighton and they just never ever recovered after that. Anthony Elanga had a day to remember. The Swedish International did not score a single goal but set up a many by his pace and ball control.
Chris Wood’s Hat-trick Powers Forest
Chris Wood, the Nottingham’s talisman and the ever impressive Gibbs – White scored in the first half. The second half was even better for Nottingham as Chris Wood completed a hat-trick and with it 17 goals in the EPL this season. Neco Williams too got his name in the scoring chart and when substitute Jota Silva scored from a terrible goalkeeper error, Nottingham had notched by 7 goals and had completely shot down the flying Seagulls 7-0.
A Painful Misadventure For Brighton
Brighton had been subjected to a massive hammering and probably their worst defeat since their graduation to the Premier League. There was nothing they could do to stem the momentum which had completely gathered in favour of Nottingham. It was a demoralising misadventure to the Forests of Nottingham.
