A Diallo Blessing For United
It was an incredible night in Old Trafford, Manchester, where it took just 12 minutes for an amazing young talent to turn despair into sheer joy. Amad Diallo, a blessing for a beleaguered United Team produced something out of the ordinary and ensured his team walked away with crucial 3 points.
A Brilliant Onana
A struggling Southampton began the match with some excellent runs from the pacy Sulemana, who under the circumstances was brilliant, but Onana, Manchester United’s Goalkeeper was exceptional in front of goal saving almost everything which was thrown at him from all sides.
An Own Goal Breaks The Deadlock
The deadlock was broken in the 42nd minute when a corner kick resulted in an own goal from Ugarte and Southampton were ahead. United pressed hard and came close to scoring only to be denied by some stoic resistance from Southampton. Alejandro Garnacho missed a sitter too, just in front of goal.
Amad Diallo Turns The Match Upside Down
With time running out, the match took a dramatic turn with Amad Diallo scoring through a brilliant solo run from the right flank in the 82nd minute. The goal lifted the team and the fans no end. Then came the second one 2 minutes into stoppage time. Amad Diallo again the architect of the goal, pressing forward, stretching and scoring through a bunch of defenders.
Diallo’s Brilliant Hat-trick
The noise was deafening as United took the lead and 2 minutes later, Diallo lurking in the Southampton box snatched the ball from the Southampton defence and scored. The young gun had scored his first hat-trick.
Amad Saves The Blushes
It was an amazing 12 minutes of absolute mayhem as Southampton crumbled and Amad Diallo single-handedly ensured a United victory. The night belonged to him. A young man had saved Manchester United the blushes, yet again.
