A Scrappy Game For Arsenal
The packed Emirates Stadium witnessed a 2-1 victory for Arsenal over visiting Tottenham. A Scrappy Game but the right result for the home team. With this win the Gunners moved to 2nd position, 4 points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
Trossard’s Brilliant Strike
Dominic Solanke headed an own goal under pressure from an Arsenal Corner after Son Heung-min had scored first for the Spurs. Leandro Trossard then produced a sublime finish to give Gunners the lead. In just 4 minutes the Gunners went ahead from being a goal down.
Arsenal Subdue Spurs
In the second half it was more of Arsenal on the offensive while Tottenham defended. The Spurs who have been brilliant when scoring goals were a subdued lot. Arsenal enjoyed the lead till the end of the match. It was an important victory as Mikel Arteta looked pleased,with his fists raised in the air.

Time Running Out For Postecoglou
Tottenham further slumped to 13th position even after scoring 43 goals , second only to Liverpool. Time appears to be running out for Postecoglou and a top 6 finish looks a very distant possibility.
