What is your all time favorite automobile?
It was the year 1996 when Tata Motors unveiled a family hatch back at the Auto Show in Delhi
The Hatchback was named ‘ Mint ‘. Still pursuing my MBA at that time, the Mint was an instant hit with me, a die hard car lover.
3 years later in 1999 the Mint was launched but the name has changed to Indica.
I booked the Indica on the first day of its booking on a severely cold February morning . I had booked the diesel version. And after a fairly long wait of almost 9 months I got my Indica from the showroom.
I was a proud owner of the Indica and that I had purchased it ( from my own sources and a bit of a help from my father ) was the icing on the cake.
The reviews for Indica were mixed, but I loved it. It was my first buy and so it will always remain a cherished car for me . My all time favourite.
