India’s Mesmerizing Display
I am at a loss for superlatives to describe India ‘s performance in the 4th and final T20 against South Africa in Johannesburg last night. Brilliant, mesmerizing, unprecedented, etc etc. would still be an understatement, such was the action on display.
Sanju’s Decisive Upturn In His India Career
Sanju Samson has been reborn and is living a new life. He has become the first in the world to score 3 T20 centuries in a calendar year. The elegant power hitter ( best way to describe him ) had been the most talked about player not for his ability ( which he is already well known for ) but for being conspicuous by his absence from the Indian Team. He has given a decisive upturn to his career and now it will be difficult for the Indian Cricket Management to ignore Sanju Centurion in any form of Cricket.

Tilak Varma India ‘s Rising Mega Star
Tilak Varma, blessed with an ocean of potential, proved his mettle beyond any doubts with two back-to-back sterling hundreds in South Africa. The one yesterday was mesmerizingly breathtaking. The future of the Indian team is shaping up for good and Tilak Varma is going to be an integral part of it.
Sloppy South Africa
It rained sixes on the poor Joburg crowd. 23 came from the Indian side. The hitting was so clean, and the timing was so pure from both Sanju and Tilak that South Africa’s bowling attack looked poorer than at the club level. It was a complete mismatch between India’s thrilling batting and SA’s sloppy bowling and fielding.

Arshdeep and Varun India ‘s T20 Bowling Sensations
The batters deserve every praise possible, but Arshdeep Singh dazzled with the ball. He was unplayable on a pitch on which India had made 283/1. He bowled with remarkable control and brought the ball into the right-handers with consummate ease. The LBW of Heinrich Klassen was simply a superb delivery beating Klassen all ends up. Arshdeep is set for bigger things and it is just a matter of time before we will see this exceptional young bowler playing for India in all 3 formats. Varun Chakravarthy too has been brilliant in South Africa and there is no doubt that he has resurrected his career with the Indian Team.
Poor From SA In All Departments: Markram Needs Rest
SA were undone by their own players. Aiden Markram needs a break to address his dangerously plummeting form. Miller and Klassen are not going to bail them out every time and the rest of the batting has no spine. The bowlers including Gerald Coetzee have looked clueless when under the pump and have cracked to pieces under pressure. Taking a holistic view, the SA team put in a poor performance and were genuinely pulverized by India, losing by a record 135 runs in the final T20.
India’s Humble SKY
The India side are all smiles though and I am happy for the humble SKY who has led the side brilliantly in no uncertain terms.
Tilak Varma Takes All The Honours
Tilak Varma was named the Player of the Match and The Player of the Series.
