What Is The Record of a Fallen Vampire About?
The story follows Akabara “Red Rose” Strauss, the last king of the Kingdom of the Night. Around a thousand years before the main events, Strauss lost his kingdom, and his beloved queen, Adelheid, was sealed away by humans. Unable to defeat the queen directly, humanity imprisoned her and created thousands of false seals to hide her actual location. Strauss has spent centuries searching for the correct seal, determined to reunite with her.
However, his quest has turned him into a target. The dhampires, beings born from human and vampire blood, pursue their former king, while other forces seek to prevent him from reaching his goal. The conflict becomes more dangerous with the appearance of the Black Swan, a supernatural entity that inhabits the body of a human girl every 50 years. Each new incarnation grows stronger and possesses the power to destroy Strauss and his queen. As Strauss continues his search, the story gradually reveals the truth behind the fall of his kingdom and the events that made him an enemy to so many people.
