Last night Racing Santander had a taste of Barcelona at the Nou Camp. Hansi Flick’s Catalans, in an imperious display of attacking football, floored the visitors with 7 goals ( Raphina scoring a hat trick). Though in the melee, Racing Santander scored a couple, the difference between the two sides was telling.

Other Teams Too Have Faced The Barcelona Wrath

But Racing Santander is not the only team to have suffered Barcelona’s wrath this season. The Catalans beat Levante 4-2, blanked Valencia 5-0, got the better of Rayo Vallecano 5-2, got past Athletic 2-0 and decimated Elche 5-0.

The Catalans Have Been Rampant With 28 Goals In 6 La Liga Games

In the 6 games played so far in La Liga, Barcelona have scored 28 goals already and have conceded just 6, having a mammoth goal difference of 22. The dominance is incredible. In the Champions League too, Barcelona were ruthless against Feyenoord, beating the Dutch side 5-1.

Tiki Taka Replaced By Flawless Aggression

Hansi Flick has replaced the Tiki Taka with an aggressive, flawless display of football,  focussing on scoring, squeezing the pitch for the opponents, and moving like a horde when they get the ball. Slowing down the game is just not an option.

Raphina & Lamine Yamal Have Been Sublime

Raphina and Lamine Yamal have been brilliant together, with Karim Adeyemi being a perfect foil from the left flank. When Raphina, Yamal and Adeyemi move in tandem, the Catalans are difficult to stop. Yamal’s brilliance with the ball and the exceptional ability of the trio to shoot and score from any position, make Barcelona deadly upfront.

The Midfield & Defence Are Tight As Ever & The Bench Is Great Too

With Rodri, Olmo and Pedri, the midfield is sensational. The defence too with Pau Cubarsi in the Centre is in safe hands. The most interesting part is that each player has the ability to score. The bench is as strong as one could imagine, with Gavi, Fermin Lopez, Gabriel Jesus and Anthony  Gordon ready to make an impact.

There Is No Stopping Barcelona

Barcelona have made a stupendous start to the season and even Real Madrid will need to dig very deep to stop the Catalan Juggernaut. At the moment, Barcelona are looking set for another La Liga triumph.
