Brighton Stun Manchester United at Old Trafford
Brighton & Hove Albion overturned a two-goal deficit to beat Manchester United 3-2 in a crazy second-half comeback at Old Trafford, as stunned United fans watched their team being eliminated from the EFL Carabao Cup last night.

United Start With Two Goals in 10 Minutes But Brighton Fight Back…
Manchester United scored twice in the opening 10 minutes of the game thanks to quick goals from Shea Lacey (8′) and Mason Mount (10′). It appeared as if the home fans were in for a treat, but Brighton kept pegging. The Seagulls regrouped, tightening their defences and eventually scored at the stroke of half time through Charalampos Kostoulas.
… And Eventually Win The Tie
The second half was all Brighton as a surprisingly soft United was unable to withstand the constant pressure from the Seagulls. Pascal Groß levelled the score at 2–2 in the 65th minute. Substitute Maxim De Cuyper found the net in the 70th minute to complete the turnaround and send Brighton through to the next round.

Brighton Were Tactically Brilliant & United Timid
Brighton were tough. They fought for the ball and though they got 4 yellow cards, they defended bravely and attacked with great intent. Manchester United could not counter the physical play. Tactically Brighton were superior and United paid the price for not countering the Seagulls with equal aggression.
