Diriyah Club is emerging as the Saudi Pro League’s newest powerhouse project.

Owned by the Diriyah Company, a major subsidiary under Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), the club has undergone a complete transformation to join the upper echelon of Saudi football:
Heavy Institutional Backing: Privatised under Vision 2030, Diriyah Club represents the historic UNESCO heritage site of At-Turaif, complete with brand-new “Diriyah Tan” kit identities and state-of-the-art infrastructure investments.
Elite Leadership: Head coach Bruno Lage (former Benfica and Wolves manager) was appointed to steer the team’s tactical vision alongside top European sporting directors.
High-Profile Transfers: The club has rapidly built a competitive squad, landing established international talent like midfielder Idrissa Gueye, forward Gaëtan Laborde, defender Berat Djimsiti, and dynamic attacking options Darwin Nunez ( on loan from Al-Hilal ) and young Algerian Adil Boulbina to challenge the established “Big Four” (Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, Al Ahli).
