Buoyed by an incredibly inspirational qualifying campaign from Europe, Norway swept past the Group, going undefeated and trampling over opponents, including the much-fancied Italians.

Norway beat Italy twice in the qualifiers, both home and away and swept past Moldova, Estonia and Israel, winning all 8 games and scoring a mammoth 37 goals in the process. Star striker Erling Haaland scored 16 of them in a sensational performance.

Norway thus pose a huge threat to their opponents in Group I, which in my opinion is one of the toughest groups in the World Cup. The Norwegians will have France ( one of the title favourites) for company, alongside a terrific Senegal side led by Sadio Mane. And Iraq, which fought the hardest to reach the World Cup, to complete the Group.

The midfield will be anchored by Odegaard, like a wizardly playmaker, with assistance from Patrick Berg ( who was terrific for Bodo/Glimt) and Sandre Berge. The midfield looks good and will be responsible for supplying valuable balls to Erling Haaland.
The Attack is Seriously Sharp
The attack is right up there with the best, led by Erling Haaland. Alexander Sorloth has a great reputation, too and will be a perfect foil for Haaland. The pace of the young Antonio Nusa will be a real boost, along with the quality of Jorgen Strand Larsen and Jens Petter Hauge.
Strand Larsen & Nusa Score in Friendly with Sweden
In the Friendly held yesterday in Oslo between Norway and Sweden, Strand Larsen scored a brace. Nusa was on the scorecard too as Norway won 3-1 in great comfort.
Without doubt, the Norwegians are the ones to watch out for.
