Manchester City Close In On Arsenal’s Heels
Manchester City prevented any further slip in the EPL title race and remained close on the heels of Arsenal, two points adrift, with three games remaining in the competition. Last week’s draw with Everton has given Arsenal the edge, but the sport has seen stranger things, and anything dramatic just cannot be ruled out.
Brentford, the ‘Bees’, Reach Etihad For A Tough Duel
City hosted Brentford last evening at the Etihad Stadium. The Bees, who have been a force to reckon with, were not going to be easy opponents, and City had to be at their best to survive against their London guests.

As the second half began to wear out, a moment of brilliance was required to break the shackles, and Jeremy Doku once again ( as he had done against Everton), produced that moment of magic which the fans had been waiting for. An outstanding right-foot curler into the Brentford net. It was an incredible strike in the 60th minute.
Haaland Scores To Give City the Advantage
City pressed on, and though Brentford did have a couple of good chances, Donnarumma came up with a good save. In the 75th minute, Erling Haaland scored his 26th goal in the EPL this season as he scrambled in front of the goal and scored with a faint back heel. But it all counted.
A Cool Marmoush Finish Makes It An Emphatic Win For City
Omar Marmoush made it 3-0 in favour of the Mancunians in stoppage time with an excellent finish from a perfect Haaland set-up. The Bees had succumbed to a better team, which lifted its game when it really mattered.
Pep Guardiola Elated

Arsenal face Hammers at the London Stadium later today- A must win for both sides
Arsenal, with two points ahead, will take on West Ham this evening. The Hammers’ Premier League status is hanging by a thread, and they need to win to have any chance of avoiding relegation. For the Gunners, too, it is a must-win game at the London Stadium, the home of West Ham.
Sensational Doku : The Player for City
This post cannot be complete without a special word for Jeremy Doku. A player of exceptional quality, the Belgian has been the best player for City all season and no wonder he is repaying all the faith which Pep Guardiola has reposed in him. What a player!!
