West Ham lost to Brentford last evening, thus presenting an opportunity for Tottenham Hotspur to get out of the relegation zone if the Spurs beat Aston Villa tonight.
It Will Be either Tottenham Hotspur or West Ham In The Relegation Zone
Wolves and Burnley have already been relegated from the EPL and will be replaced by Coventry City and Ipswich Town. The third team to go out would be either Tottenham or West Ham, who would be replaced through a playoff between Hull City, Southampton, Millwall and Middlesbrough.
A Tough Challenge For Spurs Against Villa
The Spurs have to get past Aston Villa, and considering their recent head-to-head with the Villans, it looks like a tall order. Tottenham have lost their last 4 games against Villa, which puts them in a gravely disadvantaged position. Playing at Villa Park in Birmingham in front of a vociferously partisan crowd will make it even more difficult for Roberto de Zerbi’s men.

The list of injuries just continues to get longer for Tottenham in an insane manner. Xavi Simons, the latest in the injury segment, is a body blow for Tottenham, and he joins the star-studded list comprising Cristian Romero, Kulusevski, Solanke, PM Sarr and M Kudus, to name a few.
Do Tottenham Have The Will To Survive?
Amongst all the problems and a very likely prospect of a relegation looming large, the question remains whether Tottenham have the will to survive?. Can they turn the tables on Aston Villa? Can they die on the pitch tonight to save the club the humiliation of being relegated?.

The victory against Wolves last week, the first in the new year, must have given great hope to the Spurs. Can the likes of Richarlison, Kolo Muani, Palinha, Bissouma, Tel and the rest do a favour to Tottenham?. Can the defence put their bodies on the line and defend their goal as players possessed ?. Can a turnaround happen?.

It will be interesting to see how Tottenham respond whether they rise to the challenge or submit to it with ease.
The Villans are the favourites, however, and it is their game to lose. Not to forget, they too need to resurrect their campaign after losing to Fulham last week.
