Bees Sting West Ham Hard, Give Tottenham Hope

Brentford beat West Ham
The Hammers Went To Conquer Got Stung Instead

The Hammers travelled to the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford today with the hope of securing some more cushion over the dangerous relegation zone, but ended up being stung by the bees.

It Was Not West Ham’s Day Today

West Ham did not play a bad game and at times were unfortunate. Taty Castellanos hit the woodwork twice in the first half. Mavropanos, who had scored an Own Goal in the 15th minute to give Brentford the lead, had his header disallowed by VAR before Summerville hit the crossbar. West Ham just couldn’t score.

Brentford Punish West Ham 3-0

The Hammers gave away a penalty in the second half, which Thiago scored with ease, and then Damsgaard scored for the Bees eight minutes from time to give Brentford a 3-0 daylight over West Ham.

Hammers Are Precariously Poised Now

The Hammers could not conjure anything from the game. A win for Tottenham tomorrow might put the Hammers back into relegation. No wonder the Bees have given Tottenham Hotspur a fresh lease of life, while for  West Ham, they have to win everything from now on and then hope that Tottenham falter.

Brentford Advance

Brentford have moved to no. 6 in the EPL table and have reignited their mission for European qualification.

The Bees Can Sting.
