Manchester City have taken a giant leap towards the EPL Title by winning the contest against Arsenal 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester a few minutes ago.

City have closed the gap with leaders Arsenal and are now just 3 points adrift of them with the advantage of a game in hand.
Cherki Scores, Havertz Equalises
Rayan Cherki gave City the lead in the 16th minute, which was cancelled out just two minutes later by Kai Havertz, capitalising on a rare Donnarumma error. Pep Guardiola himself was stunned by the slip.
City Press For Advantage
At half-time, the match was locked at 1-1, but then Manchester City pressed on, and Erling Haaland came close to scoring. City were dominating possession ( 59%), and it was just a matter of time before City scored as Arsenal looked more tight and cagey at times.

Haaland eventually scored in the 68th minute, marking his 30th goal contribution in the EPL this season for Manchester City.
City Defend Bravely
City defended the lead by putting their bodies on line. Even Haaland getting a yellow card.
A Massive Win For City
Mikel Arteta made swift changes, but Arsenal couldn’t score and lost an extremely crucial tie after losing to Bournemouth last week, which has complicated matters for the Gunners. But for City it has been a massive win.
Every game from now on is a must-win contest for both City ( 6 for them) and Arsenal ( 5 for the Gunners). A bit of a slip and the Title may just elude the grip.
