Mo Salah – You’ll Never Walk Alone

I had been a staunch Manchester United fan since years. Sir Alex Ferguson was at the helm of United and what a great team he had made out at Old Trafford. But Sir Ferguson called it a day and then began United’s slide. Mo Salah joined Liverpool in and around that time and set Anfield  ablaze with his brilliance. I was pulled towards Liverpool purely watching Salah and my interest in the Club just began to rise as the years passed by.

Mo Salah, the magician from Nagrig turned his struggling career into a legend at Liverpool under the watchful eyes of Jurgen Klopp. His skills were sharpened to the point of being lethal. His passion for the game and his massive ambitions met the right atmosphere at Liverpool, as he grew and grew as a footballer.

The statistics which Mo Salah has put on board are simply staggering and in Jurgen Klopp’s view, they are incredible and seemed impossible when Klopp met Salah to sign him for Liverpool 9 seasons ago. Let’s have a look at some of them.

His 255 goals for Liverpool in all competitions is the third highest in the history of the Club, only behind Ian Rush ( 346 ) and Roger Hunt ( 285 ).

A great story is coming to an end as Salah prepares to leave Liverpool at the end of the season as a free agent. The legend will walk into the sunset leaving behind an incredible legacy and loads and loads of fantastic memories for the fans.
