Ruben Amorim, the Portuguese Manager of Manchester United, has been sacked.
Manchester United drew their last two games in the Premier League, one against Wolves and the other against Leeds. And though United had reached 6th position on the table, the performance this season had not been inspiring enough.
There was an undercurrent of disagreements between Amorim and United’s management, which eventually led to the fallout between them. The last two games were nothing special from United either, which sealed Amorim’s fate for good.
United have been struggling since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson and have yet to settle down with a Manager on a long-term basis. This has reflected in their performances in the past decade, which has been disappointing to say the least.
Another season and another Manager shown the door.
