The 11th edition of the Arab Cup and the 2nd under FIFA’s jurisdiction will be held in Qatar from the 1st to the 18th of December 2025.
16 Teams from across the Arab world will be vying for the coveted Arab Cup, presently held by Algeria.
Divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each, the top two teams from each group will proceed to the knockouts after the round robin group stage.
Qatar ( the hosts), Algeria ( the defending Champions) and the top 7 ranked Arab nations, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan and UAE, directly qualified for the group stage, while Palestine, Syria, Comoros, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Sudan went through the qualifiers to reach the group stage.
The Groups are as follows:-
Group A: Palestine, Qatar, Syria and Tunisia
Group B: Comoros, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia
Group C: Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, UAE
Group D: Algeria, Bahrain, Iraq, Sudan
The Venues:-
The matches will be held across the 6 iconic stadiums in Qatar. The Al-Bayt stadium will host the opening match, while the Lusail stadium will host the final. Matches will also be held at the Khalifa International Stadium, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Stadium 974 and Education City Stadium.
It is going to be an exciting tournament with defending champions Algeria, World Cup semi-finalists Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and hosts Qatar tagged as favourites to win this year.
With Football standards picking up exceptionally in the Arab world, some sublime football is expected to be witnessed.
