MI Beat SRH

MI Are On The Rise

Teams beware, Mumbai Indians(MI) are on the rise and are just about peaking at the right time. With another humiliation of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH, MI recorded their 4th successive win on the bounce and are looking ominous to say the least.

SRH Completely Outplayed

There is nothing much to talk about the match as such. SRH once again failing at the top, trying to bat the one way only, losing wickets in a heap ( they were 14/4 at one stage), a bit of a recovery from Klassen and Abhinav Manohar, and eventually a paltry target of 144 for the inform Mumbai batters to chase.

MI Move To 3rd On The EPL Table

The annihilation of SRH was completed in the 16th over. With  a better run rate MI climbed to 3rd on the table and SRH remained in 9th with not much hope left in the tournament. What a waste for Hyderabad.

Rohit’s Rich Form A Boon To MI

With Rohit Sharma playing the way he is, MI have a great advantage. Ryan Rickleton too has been an ideal foil for Rohit at the top and with Suryakumar Yadav in a rich vein of form, MI’s batting looks tough to counter.

Mitch Santner Has Been Exceptional

The bowling too has been top notch with the return of Bumrah. Trent Boult has settled in well with Deepak Chahar. However, the one bowler who has impressed the most has been Mitch Santner. He has been brilliant to say the least with his impeccable lines and change of pace. He has been difficult to read and even more difficult to score of.

MI Keep Improving By The Day

In totality, MI are improving by the day, and with their ability to win big games, they are a potential threat to the opposition.

SRH – Poor Batting And Poorer Bowling

SRH has been very disappointing in all departments. Their batting is trying to play only one way which is definitely not working and their bowling has been wafer thin. Pat Cummins is struggling and is better off not playing T20s leave alone captain a side. Shami has been completely off colour, which is such a setback for the Orange Army. Harshal Patel is the only one who has looked good with some hope from the young rookie Zishan Ansari.

Ishan Kishan -A Great Opportunity Lost

I had lots of hopes from Ishan Kishan after his century in the first game but he has been woeful after his century. Even post a ton in game 1 , Ishan has scored only 139 runs in 8 matches and goes to show how poor he has performed after the first game. Last night too he got out in a bizarre manner. He surprisingly walked away despite the ultraedge showing no snick. The umpire was indecisive and the opposition was not sure either. Ishan Kishan has simply wasted a great opportunity.

It Is Over For SRH, Sadly

There was a lot expected from SRH but they have been poor in their planning and worse in their execution of these plans. IPL 2025 is unfortunately over for them.
