Newcastle Are Up And Running
The Saudi controlled club has been putting up some good performances since their take over and though they have yet to win any silver ware ( the wait has been 70 years now ), they have regained their position as a top flight team capable of challenging the best in Europe and the world.
Alexander Isak, Newcastle’s Talisman
The match began with a ripper from Alexander Isak just to be disallowed by a marginal off-side call. It was once again an Isak beauty which caught the cross bar, ricocheted to Murphy, who executed a superb finish to give Newcastle the lead and an aggregate of 3-0. It has to be said that Isak has been extremely impressive and one of the finest performers this season for the Magpies. His speed, ball control and sublime finishes are a treat to watch.
Frustration Creeps In For Arsenal

Gordon Scores For Magpies
In the 52nd minute a loose pass from David Raya to Declan Rice was tackled by Gordon lurking behind. The brilliant Newcastle striker took the ball and shot home with great precision to make it 2-0 and an insurmountable 4-0 on aggregate. The match was done.
A Great Win For Eddie Howe
For Eddie Howe, Newcastle’s Manager, the victory would give him a shot at the Carabao Cup and the victory was indeed one of the more valuable ones for the Magpies.
Arsenal Miss A Great Opportunity
Arsenal, were just not good enough in both legs of the semi-final and lost an opportunity to claim a title which they have been bereft of for a long time now.
