Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?
To stay productive you need to keep your energy reservoirs filled up to the brim. And to keep your energy reservoirs going you need to take a few breaks of laziness or rest in between the demands of your work schedule. Therefore to laze around a bit is actually not that unproductive.
A good brief rest and a short nap, unclutters the brain and rejuvenates the body. It helps to re-focus on the job at hand. The lazy break on many occasions can find solutions to complex issues and pending problems.
The body too recuperates and finds itself in harmony with the mind. This is imperative for a healthy being.
A day off work, a long drive, inviting friends over for lunch, reading a favourite classic, watching a movie, trying your hand at a new sport, or simply lying on the couch are some of the activities which are part of my menu when taking a break.
Taking a holistic view therefore, I consider lazy breaks to be rather productive than unproductive.
You just need to follow my style:)
