What makes a good neighbor?
They say that having a good neighbour is more than a blessing. There cannot be anything more true than this.
In the earlier days when we were kids and growing up, our neighbours were family. We interacted with them much more than our relatives. Whichever community or religion they came from, was immaterial. We had such good terms. We celebrated our festivals together and also supported each other in times of distress.
Even today we are blessed with amazing neighbours, even though the times have changed. Lives have become much busier and complicated, but still the basics remain the same.
Good neighbours therefore are the ones who live and let their neighbours live too. They are always there when you need them but do not interfere in our daily lives. They have mutual respect. Allow each other with requisite space. They are always considerate and never try to inconvenience the other. They stand by you in trying times.
A good neighbourhood, makes life easier and happier. Without doubt, a good neighbour is indeed a blessing.
