Russell Crowe’s performance as Maximus in Gladiator was one of the finest I have seen. No wonder he won the best actor Academy award. Russell Crowe also has a connection to cricket. He is the first cousin of former New Zealand Cricket captain, the legendary Late Martin Crowe. Another actor who caught my imagination was Brad Pitt when he played the role of Achilles in the film Troy. His performance was nothing short of riveting. What an actor.
