Real Madrid Humbled
If the Champions League Semi-Final held yesterday between Manchester City and Real Madrid is any indication, a blue moon has risen in European Football whose shadow is inescapabale and has the potential of engulfing any opposition in the world. Manchester City, the Sky Blues simply brushed aside the Real Madrid challenge and won the semi-final with embarrassing ease. Real Madrid had drawn the first leg on their home ground, but at the Etihad ( Manchester City’s home ground ), they were totally outclassed and bowed out of the competition. Manchester City will lock horns with Inter Milan in the Final on 11 th of June.
A Year of Absolute Dominance
In the English Premier League, Manchester City are well and truly in command and just need a win out of their next three encounters to score a hat-trick of titles. It would be an amazing feat. They have also made it to the final of the FA Cup which the sky blues would be playing against Manchester United on the 3rd of June. Manchester City have a great chance of a treble of Titles this year, such has been their absolute dominance.
Staggering Numbers
The figures say it all. In the Premier League they have scored the maximum number of goals (92) and have conceded the least number of goals (31). Their goal difference is a massive 61. Erling Haaland has created an all time premier league record of goals (36) scored in a single season. Out of their 35 games in the EPL this season so far, they have remained unbeaten in 31 ( 27 wins and 4 draws ) of them and have lost just 4 matches. The figures are incredible and staggering. The team coached by Pep Guardiola since 2016 is indeed a well orchestrated symphony with each team member being a true performer in his own right.
Seemingly Invincible
It would be difficult to find chinks in Manchester City’s armour. Their goal scoring prowess is unmatchable with strikers of great quality playing alongside each other. A midfield of delectable stars possessing great ball control, displaying an amazing zeal to create opportunities all the time and having tremendous striking ability too. The defence is hard to rupture with some tough defenders manning the post, making the Manchester City Goal truly impregnable. Taking a holistic view the team looks seemingly invincible and a treble this year looks quite a possibility.

This has resulted in an extremely cohesive unit and a formidable bench strength for the Team. Pep Guardiola is blessed with such a pool of talent that the team never appears to lack its bite. The Brilliant Pep has great organisational skills, footballing acumen and just more than a Midas Touch. Undoubtedly he has built a Team to be proud of.
