The South Americans have reached the Round of 16, much under the radar, without getting noticed, so to speak. The media, the critics and the fans have perched their attention on the likes of Argentina, France, Spain and Portugal, leaving Colombia completely off the hook and in peace.

The Coffee Growers, however, have made the best of this lack of attention and have remained unbeaten so far in the competition. Their topping the group and pushing Portugal to second place hardly raised eyebrows. The focus just remained on Ronaldo, which infact benefitted Colombia as they remained focused on the job at hand.
