They allowed Turkiye to have the ball, but denied them scoring opportunities. They hung on bravely, putting their bodies on the line, despite playing half the match with 10-men.

The forwards of Turkiye were a huge disappointment. It was a World Cup to forget for Turkiye’s Arda Guler. A lot was expected of him, but the young man just couldn’t deliver. This will hurt for sure.
