Bodø/Glimt are travelling from Bodø in Norway to Milan, to take on the mighty Inter at the iconic San Siro Stadium. The 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 Playoff is being held tonight.
The Norwegians surprised Inter last week with a massive 3-1 victory and will take the field with their noses ahead in no uncertain terms. Inter, last year’s runners-up will be required to play out of their skin to turn the tables on Bodø/Glimt.
Inter, are in good form and after the loss to Bodø/Glimt, they got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Lecce on the weekend. It was a critical away win for Inter as the Club further consolidated its position at the top of Serie A, with a clear 10 point advantage over AC Milan.
With the domestic season over in Norway, Bodø/Glimt will be fresh and raring to go at the San Siro. They haven’t played any game since the 1st leg and will be gunning for the Italians. The 3-1 scoreline in their favour is a big plus for the Norwegians.
The battle lines are drawn with the spirited and pacy Hauge and Høgh against the powerful midfield of Inter.
An interesting game awaits. I have a hunch that Bodø/Glimt might just pull off a sensational result. I tend to be with the dark horses.
