Yash was relieved by Gujarat Titans and to his good fortune RCB stepped in. His IPL 2024 saw a major turnaround with Yash scalping 15 wickets in 13 games, bowling with good pace and precision at all times. He defended 17 runs against CSK in the final over which helped RCB reach the playoffs. Yash’s redemption was happening for good. He continued to do well for his home state Uttar Pradesh too and then was picked to play for India B in the Duleep Trophy. India B defeated India A and Yash Dayal emerged as one of the best bowlers, eventually leading to his India call-up for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh.
Life has come full circle for Yash. From the lows of 2023 to the highs of his recent India call-up, Yash Dayal and his parents have exhibited tremendous courage and grit to not only stave off the insensitive distractors but to have scripted another inspirational redemption story for the country to stand up and take note.
