But there is one Young man, who through his sheer creativity and a powerful vision, has taken upon himself to change the narrative of despair to hope, of gloom to happiness and of the negative to the positive.
Today’s blog is about this Young filmaker, winner of 3 Young Director’s award at Cannes , with more than 100 commercials, documentaries and short films and a a mighty succesful YouTube Channel, Dan Mace from Capetown Sourh Africa. He started at the age of 16 and in just over a decade has made a mark with his film making abilities with a unique take on life through his video story telling. Coming from a humble background, Dan Mace grew in Capetown, trusted his instincts, believed in his abilities and set himself on a path determined to achieve his goals.
Positive thinking, being original, being your own self are some of the messages Dan clearly wants to present to his Audience. The Gift, a short Film about a young boy dancing on the streets of Capetown in silence, is one such powerful presentation of his objective. The young boy inspite of an atmosphere of despondency around him , exhibits powerful positivity, gets on the road everyday and showcases his dancing skills happily and unknowingly challenges the way people interpret life, ever so innocently.
